KSH Holdings reported a 25.4% increase in revenue for the year ended March 31 2023, topping $301.4 million. This was due mainly to construction revenue, an area in which the company has an order book of more than $240 million. Despite the increase in revenue, overall earnings showed a decline for the period, down $1.9 million to $22.3 million. This was primarily due to a decrease in KSH’s share of earnings from associates and joint ventures.

The company has decided to pay a final dividend of a cent, bringing the full year payout to 2 cents. Most of KSH’s launched development projects in Singapore are either fully sold or almost fully sold to date. Those projects include Peace Centre/Peace Mansion, Euro-Asia Apartments at 1037 Serangoon Road, Park View Mansions and Bagnall Court.

In China, KSH is part of a consortium developing the Singapore Sino Health City in the Gaobeidian county near Beijing. The company holds a 22.5% stake in this project and reports that construction for Phase 1 has completed and KSH has started recognising profit for sold units. Additionally, Phase 2 construction has started with more than 60.9% of the approximately 1,300 units already sold.

KSH is also invested in another mixed property development in Gaobeidian, with a 33.75% stake. This joint venture has contributed positively to its FY2023 earnings. Furthermore, the company has interests in hospitality and is seeing signs of recovery in occupancy and average room rates with “pent-up” travel demand following the reopening of economies.

Executive chairman and managing director Choo Chee Onn explains, “We continue to see recovery in occupancy and average room rates with positive trends from ‘pent-up’ travel demand, following the reopening of economies.”

Residents of Altura EC Bukit Batok can enjoy a wide variety of shopping and dining options in Bukit Batok Town. West Mall is a popular shopping center offering countless retail outlets, a modern supermarket, a cinema, and many eateries. Other than West Mall, Bukit Batok Central also provides a mix of shops, restaurants, and essential services. Take your pick of shops and eateries; both locations are easily accessible and provide a pleasant shopping and dining experience.

KSH Holdings is clearly showing signs of growth and potential. With a strong order book for its construction revenue, investments in two joint ventures in China, and an optimistic outlook in its hospitality segment, KSH is pushing towards long-term sustainability.
