ERA research head Nicholas Mak leaves firm

Nicholas Mak, who was the head of research and consultancy at ERA Realty Network, has left the firm after nearly four years. Eugene Lim, ERA’s key executive officer, sent out an email to the media on March 27 expressing their sincere appreciation for Mak’s contributions and wishing him success in his future endeavors.
Prior to joining ERA in June 2019, Mak was the head of research and consultancy at ZACD and SLP International. He had also previously led research teams at Knight Frank and Chesterton International.
Mak says he is currently clearing his leave ahead of starting the next stage of his career in the real estate industry. Reflecting on his time at ERA, Mak said in an email to the media that it was an exciting four years.
He added that working at a large property agency was a beneficial learning experience and enabled him to develop his expertise in real estate research and consultancy. What’s more, he also gained valuable insights into how technology and analytics are transforming the market.
In his advisory capacity, Mak was involved in a range of special projects during his final days at ERA. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
