Sinar Mas Land and joint venture company Mitbana, formed by Mitsubishi Corporation and Surbana Jurong, have launched Welton, a cluster housing project at their mixed-use development in BSD City (formerly known as Bumi Serpong Damai), Greater Jakarta.

Theodore G. Thenoch, CEO of BSD Residential of Sinar Mas Land and vice president director of PT Sinar Mitbana Mas, has explained that the site is a 108-ha development with a 3.7-km continuous green loop providing dedicated sidewalks and bicycle paths to connect commuters to public transportation nodes.

Welton is the first cluster-landed housing development built in Hiera on a 7-ha site. It offers two- to three-storey homes with a site area of 1,055 sq ft to 3.068 sq ft, three- to four-bedrooms, a multi-purpose room and two carports. Prices start from IDR 2.5 billion ($225,000).

Kenji Ono, president director of PT MC Urban Development Indonesia and president director of PT Sinar Mitbana Mas, commented on the strong sales the first release of landed homes in Welton has garnered.
