The residents of Tengah have limited access to public transportation, making it difficult for them to access the other towns.

To improve the public transportation network for Tengah’s residents, the government is planning to build a fully overground Choa Chu Kang-Boon Lay Line. This MRT line will connect Tengah to other towns and activity nodes in the western part of Singapore.
